SAFTEY RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: Airbags, Impact Sensors, Clock Springs, Safety Belts, Anchor Tensioner and Latch, Passenger Presence System, Occupancy Sensors, Inflator Modules and Restraint Sensing Module.
SEAL AND GASKETS: Seals and Gaskets of covered components designed to prevent the loss of necessary coolants, lubricants and fluids are covered.
LIFT KIT: Oversized/Undersized tires (not to exceed the maximum tire height and maximum tire width allowed by the lift kit manufacturer), body lifts and suspension lifts (maximum 6 inch combined lift) that are installed by the authorized Seller or Seller's authorized facility at the time of Vehicle sale. Coverage will be provided in accordance with the Provisions of This Vehicle Service Contract. The odometer must be re-calibrated to register accurate mileage readings in order for Your Vehicle to be eligible for this Coverage. This surcharge is mandatory as it applies.
RENTAL: In the event of a Breakdown covered by this Contract, We will pay or reimburse You for receipted expenses to rent a replacement vehicle (from a licensed rental agency) or for alternate public transportation while Your Vehicle is at a licensed repair facility. Coverage will be provided to You on the following basis, up to a maximum of thirty dollars ($30) for every eight (8) labor hours, or portion thereof, of applicable labor time required to complete the repair, up to a maximum of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) for each repair visit. This Coverage does not apply to the time waiting for parts, services, weekends or other delays beyond the control of the repair facility or the Administrator. However, an additional three (3)days of rental Coverage applies in the event of a parts delay when an internal repair or replacement is performed on a major component (Engine, Transmission, Drive Axle). No Deductible will apply to this benefit.
TOWING/ROAD SERVICE: In the event Your Vehicle is disabled, We will pay or reimburse You for receipted towing or road service expenses up to one hundred fifty dollars ($150) per occurrence. For Trucks and/or SUV’s, We will pay or reimburse You for receipted towing or road service expenses up to seventy-five dollars ($75) per occurrence and up to one hundred dollars ($100) for flatbed (4WD/AWD Vehicles only) per occurrence. Any payment shall be for actual towing or road service charges in excess of any applicable reimbursement from the manufacturer or any other towing or road service coverage. No Deductible will apply to this benefit.
TRIP INTERRUPTION: In the event a Breakdown covered by this Contract occurs more than one hundred (100) miles from Your home and results in a repair facility keeping Your Vehicle overnight, We will reimburse You for receipted hotel and restaurant expenses, up to seventy-five dollars ($75) per day for a maximum of three (3) days (Total benefit per occurrence of $225). No Deductible will apply to this benefit.
LOST KEY/LOCK OUT: In the event the keys for Your Vehicle are lost, broken or accidentally locked in Your Vehicle, We will reimburse You for receipted expenses, up to a maximum of thirty-five dollars ($35) for locksmith services. No Deductible will apply to this benefit.
This Vehicle Service Contract Provides No Coverage or Benefits
I. For any liability for property damage, or for injury to or death of any person arising out of the operation, maintenance or use of Your
Vehicle described in this Contract, whether or not related to the parts covered. For loss of use, time, profit, inconvenience, or any other consequential loss (except as may otherwise be provided under the Schedule of Coverages), including any Consequential Damage to a non-covered part that results from a Breakdown.
J. When the responsibility for the repair is covered by an insurance policy, manufacturer and/or dealer customer assistance program, or any warranty from the manufacturer, such as extended drive train, major component or full coverage warranties, or a repairer’s guarantee/warranty (regardless of manufacturer’s or repairer’s ability to pay for such repairs). Further, Coverage under this Contract is similarly limited in the event of a Breakdown if the manufacturer has announced its responsibility through any means, including public recalls and factory service bulletins.
K. If Your Vehicle is used for towing (unless Your Vehicle is equipped with factory installed or factory authorized tow package), or is used as a commercial unit, which includes farming or ranching, route work, job-site activities, service or repair work, delivery of goods, or is used for snow removal, rental, taxi, limousine or shuttle, towing/wrecker service, dumping (dump beds), cherry pickers, lifting or hoisting, police or emergency service, principally off-road use, prearranged or organized racing or competitive driving.
L. For any Pre-existing condition or for any Breakdown occurring before Coverage takes effect or prior to the Contract Purchase Date, or if the information provided by You, or the repair facility cannot be verified as accurate or is found to be deceptively inaccurate.
M. For Breakdowns that occur and/or repairs made outside of the United States of America and Canada.
N. For Diagnostic and/or Teardown procedures that are not listed, or are in excess of the times listed in the current year’s national
flat rate hourly guide in conjunction with a covered repair.
To qualify for a Vehicle Service Contract, a vehicle must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:
1. The Vehicle must be listed on the Rate Chart. Any Vehicles on the Rate Chart listed under Excluded Models are not eligible. Any Vehicle model introduced after the effective date of the Rate Chart will require the dealership to email Agent Dealer Services.
2. Any Vehicle that is registered and being used as a commercial unit or that is used for any of the purposes listed in number 3. below is not eligible.
3. Vehicles used for any of the functions listed below (a. – n.) are not eligible:
a. Rental.
b. Dealer “loaners” or vehicles on short-term (12 months or less) leases, or Dealer Service Vehicles.
c. Taxi, limousine or shuttle.
d. Towing/Wrecker Service.
e. Police or Emergency Service.
f. Principally off-road use.
g. Racing or competitive driving.
h. Dumping (Dump Beds).
i. Cherry Pickers.
j. Lifting or Hoisting.
k. Delivery of Goods, Farming or Ranching.
l. Snow removal. (See Vehicle Service Contract for special Alaska State Requirements.)
m. Job site activities.
n. Route-work.
4. Only Vehicles used for pleasure, or driven back and forth to work, (subject to the restrictions listed in number 2., above), are eligible.
5. All trucks, vans, and utility Vehicles are limited to 13,500 pounds GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight).
6. Vehicles that have been modified for high performance or with non-factory equipment are not eligible.
7. Electric and natural gas powered vehicles (unless otherwise noted on the Rate Chart) are not eligible.
Vehicle Eligibility
To qualify for a Vehicle Service Contract, a vehicle must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

Vehicles that have been altered or modified in a fashion not recommended by the manufacturer (including but not limited to: removal of emissions control equipment, over/undersized tires, suspension kits, etc.), are not eligible. Optional LIFT KIT coverage allowed with purchased Surcharge if the following conditions are met: Oversized/Undersized tires (not to exceed the maximum tire height and maximum tire width allowed by the lift kit manufacturer), body lifts and suspension lifts (maximum 6 inch combined lift) that are installed by the authorized Seller or Seller's authorized facility at the time of Vehicle sale.
9. Vehicles with odometers that are broken, or have been broken and/or the correct mileage cannot be determined and verified by the Administrator are not eligible.
10. Vehicles that are or have ever been a total loss, salvaged, branded, “Factory Buy Back”, or rebuilt are not eligible.
11. Limited production, “Brass Hat”, Dealer Demos, exotic and “grey market” vehicles and vehicles that do not carry the original Full Manufacturer's Warranty are not eligible.
12. All covered components must be functioning at the time of sale of the Vehicle and of the Vehicle Service Contract. Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
13. The Dealer issuing the Vehicle Service Contract must have sold the Vehicle.
14. The Vehicle Coverage must be sold at the time the Vehicle is sold.
15. January 1st shall be considered the model year change for determining eligibility under this rule.
16. Prior to the sale of the Vehicle, the oil must be changed and other fluids as necessary. All mechanical and electrical components must be repaired and/or functioning properly.
17. Vehicles that are not registered to a person(s) are not eligible for Coverage.
18. Seals & Gaskets Optional Coverage is available only for vehicles with less than 150,000 Odometer Miles (at Contract Purchase Date).
